1. Scope
This policy explains cancellations and refunds for services provided by SIMIE MEDIA. If your written proposal says something different, the proposal applies.
2. Proposals and deposits
Each project starts with a written proposal that states the scope, price and payment schedule. A deposit, where required, secures your place and covers the start of the work.
3. Cancelling before work starts
If you cancel before we have started, we will refund your deposit, less any non-recoverable costs we have already paid for you, such as domain registration or licences.
4. Cancelling during a project
If you cancel after work has started, you pay for the work completed up to the date of cancellation, and any deposit paid is applied to that amount. We will hand over the completed work you have paid for.
5. Completed work
Once a deliverable has been delivered and approved, fees for it are not refundable. If something does not match the agreed scope, tell us and we will correct it within the revisions described in your proposal.
6. Ongoing services
For recurring services such as maintenance, support or marketing management, you can cancel with the notice period in your proposal (30 days if none is stated). Fees for a period that has already started are not refunded.
7. Third-party costs
Costs paid to other companies, such as advertising spend, domains, hosting, software licences and WhatsApp conversation charges, are governed by those providers’ terms and are not refundable by us.
8. How to ask
Email info@simiemedia.com with your project name and the reason for your request. We aim to reply within 7 days and to settle any approved refund within 14 days, to the original payment method where possible.
9. If we cannot agree
Please talk to us first. We will try in good faith to resolve any concern fairly. See our Terms of Service for governing law.
