Simiemedia (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides website design and development services, and operates an automated WhatsApp assistant to communicate with customers and prospective customers. This policy explains what information we collect through that assistant and our other channels, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect

• Your WhatsApp phone number and profile name, when you message us.
• The content of messages you send us, so we can understand and respond to your questions.
• Basic technical information needed to deliver messages, such as message timestamps and delivery status.

We do not ask for or knowingly collect payment card details, passwords, or other sensitive personal data through WhatsApp.

How we use your information

• To respond to your questions about our services (such as website development) and provide quotes.
• To keep a record of our conversation so we can pick it up correctly if you message us again.
• To improve how our assistant responds over time.

How messages are processed

Messages you send to our WhatsApp number are delivered to us through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform. To generate replies, the text of your message is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API, which processes it and returns a response that we send back to you. We do not use your messages to train any AI model.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate this assistant — currently Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) and Anthropic (Claude API) — and only to the extent necessary to send and receive your messages and generate replies.

Data retention

We keep conversation history for as long as reasonably needed to provide support and respond to follow-up questions. You can ask us at any time to delete your conversation history by messaging us on WhatsApp.

Your choices

• You can stop messaging us at any time; we will not contact you unless you message us first or separately agree to be contacted.
• You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or request that we delete it.
• You can block our number in WhatsApp at any time.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and individuals seeking website development services, not for children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
